Appearance: Jaenelle is a slender young woman with blonde hair and blue eyes, but in the Abyss, she takes on the form of Witch: safe face and mostly human body, with a tiny spiral horn rising from her forehead, her fingers ending in retractable claws, delicate hoves acting as her feet, and a fawn's tail.
Personality: As a Healer/Black Widow/Queen and formerly the most powerful witch ever created by the Blood, Jaenelle acts with the confidence and command which comes with fulfilling those roles, and this carries over into most every day interactions and shows in her eyes. However, when it comes to anything personal, Jaenelle acts younger than her physical age, especially where her husband, Daemon is concerned
Abilities/Strengths: Her Jewel, Twilight's Dawn, is no where near as powerful as her Ebony Jewels were, but she is still a Healer, a Black Widow, and a Queen. She has the Craft which all Jeweled Blood can weild, but she can also weave a mind to fix, or shatter, someones mind (the crystal challace in Blood terms). She can also use Craft and herbs to Heal most wounds, even weaving Healing webs.
Notable Posssessions: Her Jewel, Twilight's Dawn, set as a pendant and a Ring. An Eryien sparring stick, and as a Healer and a Black Widow, she always keeps a certain amount of Healing and weaving supplies on hand in case they're needed, in her personal space for vanishing things, which all Blood have.
Weaknesses: Daemon. She also tends to overwork her body by using Craft faster than her body can replenish her natural resources, but that's stopped since she's gained Twilight's Dawn. She's also relearning how to use Craft with her willingly reduced strenght.
History: Jaenelle grew up in a household in Terrielle Territory, who were unable or unwilling to appreciate her. Instead of trying to understand her, her family threw her into a mental hospital where she was abused and finally raped. She set a spell based on her rape, to pay back what all the "uncles" (read: customers) did to her and the other "patients" ("Briarwood is the pretty poison. There is no cure for Briarwood."). After the rape at 12, she was brought to Kaeleer Territory to live with "Papa High Lord" Saetan SaDiablo, and brought about her friends, both human and Kindred into Saetan's life.
Despite being born Queen and with 13 Birthright Black Jewels (as well as one Jewel for each Rank color), she never wanted to be Queen of the Darkness. However, Fate and Hekatah(Saetan's former wife) conspired against her and at 21, Jaenelle made her Offering to the Darkness, causing six of her Uncut Black Jewels to turn in Ebony and became Queen of the Ebon Askavi, and Queen of all of Kaeleer except for Little Terrielle and the territory granted to the male Coucil. For five years, peace reigned in Kaeleer. Then Hekatah and Dorothea (a Priestess of Terrielle) sent Terrielle to war, but instead of Kaeleer, they fought Witch in all of her Glory. Most of the Blood in Terrielle, warped and tainted by the pair, were wiped out, as were the tainted blood in Kaeleer. But to preserve the untained Blood, Jaenelle sacrified her Jewels, and nearly her life.
Now she lives an extraordinary ordinary life, no long Queen of the Dark Mountain, but her Court still around her, bound by loyalty, friendship, and love. She married Daemon a year ago, and is still trying to master those things unattainable by her massive Craft strenght, such as summoning her shoes (which previously would have called every book in her library) and cooking (fully cooked egg whites, egg yolks still raw). Lately, she and Daemon have agreed to start trying for a child.
